Hello Family, it is me, Gregan, again. I have just gone through the posts and was very happy to read about Heinrich Wortman, the immigrant who left Hamburg bound for Pennsylvania in 1652. I think it is very likely that he is a ancestor of our famous George Wortman. Interesting also to see that Wortmans from New Brunswick made their way west via up-state New York, not far from Pennsylvania, sort of a round about return trip.

As for me, I have been making money performing on guitar in bars, restaurants, and coffee shops and looking forward to many new creative projects. I am now based in Sheridan, Wyoming but, return to Maine periodically for visits with my family.

I have read recently that the old word "wyrt" refers to vegetable or farmer but, I am also open to the interpretations of baliff, beer maker, and man of his word.

Sorry, but I am particularly prejudice in favor of the "T" in my name!
